Minnesota Hood History: The KKK in 1920’s Minnesota

Local historian and librarian, Nancy Vaillancourt, has spent years researching the presence of the Ku Klux Klan in Southeast
Minnesota. Join us to learn about this forgotten history, the organized traditions of prejudice and nativism in our region in the past, and how it impacts our society today. This program will coincide with the Testify: Americana Slavery to Today traveling exhibit will be here at the library. This program is brought to you by Selco, and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
