Root River State Trail — Skiing good as of Thursday, March 4. Trail is groomed (4-inch base) and tracked 37 miles from Isinours to Houston. Warm weather has made for some icy patches.
Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail — Skiing good as of Friday, March 5. Trail is groomed and tracked from Isinours Junction to Preston and 6 miles south. 4-inch trail base.

All cross-country skiers on public ski trails who are aged 16 and above must have a Minnesota Ski Pass. You must sign your ski pass and carry it with you when skiing. Your ski pass fee helps support Minnesota's cross-country ski trail system.
Ski Pass Rates
Daily ski pass: $5
One-season ski pass: $15
Three-season ski pass: $40

Ski and Snowshoe Rental
Ski rental costs are $10 for the first 2 hours, $2 for each additional hour, max $18. Includes, skis, boots & poles.
Rentals are first come first serve.
