| The county seat of Fillmore County, Preston is a unique blend of traditional agricultural/industrial and tourism. The Harmony-Preston Valley Trail passes through Preston, connecting Harmony to the south with the Root River Valley Trail to the north. Preston offers great lodging and dining opportunities as well. Many trail users park in the expansive parking lot at the trail head and utilize Preston’s many amenities before they begin their journey and when they return. The town features a newly-renovated court house as the centerpiece of its active business district. |
